hammock recommendations for-

Went to Wally Word last week. Picked up material, thread, and ripstop.
Left there and went by a climbing shop to pick up my ropes and straps that I wanted to use for this particular hammock.

10' long 60" wide. sewed it and the 1.1oz 12X10 Blackcat design tarp.
Sewed for about a day and half on the hammock and the fly.

Total cost for this one including fly and stuff sacks approx. $25.00

Totally happy, EXCEPT. Wife stole it from me this weekend while hanging on the back side of Grandfather Mtn.

Oh well..... I guess I 'll make another this week...

You may want to check out JRB new hammock. I'm 6feet 2 inches 260 lbs with linebacker shoulders. I have never slept well in a hammock of any sort. I just finished my Bridge hammock. If that doesn't work out I'm seriously considering going back to the ground.

funbun... i didn't realize you were having problems getting comfortable in a hammock.
