Don't kow about them, but that hammock is only 9 feet long and 4 feet wide. The fly is 9.5 feet square. Really small setup unless you're under 5' tall.

You would be the first person to buy one of these and report your findings on Hammock Forums. I personally avoid brands, probably Chinese-made, with virtually no user feedback, that have an extremely-enticing price and minimal information about the product. I don't know how XJ35S even found the dimensions of the hammock, because I can't. The bugnet suspension looks like a Skeeter Beeter Pro, and there's no telling whether the tarp could keep you dry (though 9.5 ft. square is tiny).

I am looking for my 6 year old son who is currently 4' 2". I consider this to be a starter hammock at a starter price of $60 for the entire setup.
The better question would be, how does it compare against the HH Cub or Scout?

Jared at Simply Light Designs has a "starter hammock" package right now that includes a 10 foot hammock and straps for $54. Granted, you'd have to add a bugnet and tarp, but at least you'd start your son out with something of a higher quality from one of our cottage vendors.

I have this same package, and will be camping with it this weekend. I'll come back and post my experience with it.

i tried this hammock before, my friend bought it on amazon as a last minute thing, as he did not want to be the only ground dweller on our camping trip. it's a really small hammock, and it feels like it was done to save money on material, no other purpose.

its only upside is that it's really cheap, perfect for someone who will use it maybe 2-3 times total, not someone that will hammock camp often.
