Will Ultralight weight hammock win some market ?

We call hammock designs of that size lounging (relaxing) or pocket hammocks. Good for a short nap.
Is there a market? Sure ENO sells plenty, as do many of the folks who buy hammocks from your factory and resell them on Amazon for cheap.

For sleeping hammocks most here prefer 320 CM or longer.
The width is what we call standard. Many also prefer a wide or XL for sleeping. Something close to 165 cm.

Is that light? Not really.

I have a 147cm x 274cm hammock that includes suspension for 165g (two soft shackles missing from 160 g picture)

Add 45g to make it out of a slightly sturdier fabric.

A more common ultralight version people here use would be-
320cm x 165cm in a 1.2 ounce (30d) fabric. With full suspension those come out to roughly 285g.

A standard weight version of that with 1.6 ounce (40d) fabric comes out around 365g.

So if anything- for most of us who sleep in these... they are too small and they weigh more than other options.
I'm guessing they are very low cost... very low cost things always sell to casual users or for those who use them briefly.

For those of us who use them frequently or sleep in them full time will choose more carefully.

A 9' no-net hammock that weighs 450g is ultra-heavy in my book. I have lighter 11' no-net hammocks made of 1.9oz 70D ripstop.

Alright - I just read the signature. Now I get it. Nice try, but you have to try a lot harder to sell hammocks to a forum full of members who actually use their hammocks for camping and not just to look cool.

Yes, you are right. It is only can be chosen for casual users.
