-----------------This is the rescheduled event from Labor Day 2018 weekend. It was cancelled due to epic flooding of the entire Kickapoo Valley Region when they closed Wildcat Mountain State Park for over a week. ------------------------

Join us Memorial Day Weekend 2019 for the Kickapoo Valley Challenge. How many activities can you complete in a weekend? Join us for camping, paddling, hiking, biking, eating and maybe napping too. Nope, there’s no actual contest – just challenging yourself to try something new.

Travel times:
. from Milwaukee - 3 hrs
. from Twin Cities - 3 hrs
. from Iowa City - 3 hrs 40 min
. from Chicago - 4 hrs

Since this is a hammock hang plus, ground dwellers are welcome too. All event correspondence will be handled through Meetup. You'll need to join the meetup group and it is free to join.

Basic details.....

When: Friday, May 24 @ 3pm until Monday, May 27 at 2:59 pm. Three nights.

Cost: Early bird pricing ($15 registration + $5 wood) = $20 total (Price will increase on May 1st, 2019)

What: Paddle the Kickapoo River on Saturday, hike on Sunday, bike the Elroy/Sparta trail on Monday

FYI... I'm monitoring the levels on the Kickapoo River and in contact with Drifty's to ensure safe paddling for us this weekend. Rain is predicted tmrw and possibly Friday. I'll keep y'all posted with updates.
