Can Anyone share some good hammock camping / hiking locations in Sedona AZ/Mid June

Hey All: This is a shoutout to the local hangers in the Flagstaff/Sedona AZ area. I am seeking intel on good hang locations in and around Sedona Arizona near Broken Arrow or Cathedral Rock. Any help would be nice. We are renting a Jeep Cherokee but we will be staying on the road with it. We might do a Pink Jeep off road tour. Thanks again. Also plan on visiting the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. but I doubt much that there will be anything to hang from around there.

You should check out Kurt Papke's youTube channel as he lives in that area and has a lot of well done videos.

Kurt lives in Tucson, but is always hanging all over AZ. Dejoha lives about 45 min from Sedona, in Flagstaff, where there are endless trees and public land for camping. ( They also got 36" of snow in 24 hr yesterday! I used to live there, and I remember those huge snow dumps! ) There are camp grounds in Oak Creek Canyon right outside Sedona that have plenty of trees, but I don't know if hanging is allowed or not. But drive up the hill a bit towards Flag and hang most any where you want in the National Forest land. Didn't TallPaul just do a hang trip near Sedona? Here Ya go, I found it:

Loads of scrub pine all over around Sedona and the South Rim. Plenty of camping in both areas. Particular Highlights would be Oak Creek Canyon between Sedona and Flagstaff. Been down in that area a few times and it's well worth the trip from anywhere.

South rim is a few hours north of Flagstaff.

There are a number of National Forests in the area. You'll need to get up around 6,000 feet if you want pines, else you'll be in juniper. If you intend to stay off the beaten path, there are some less traveled areas to the west of Sedona you might peruse on the map. Your approach would be to generally head north (and a little west) from Cottonwood.
