    New from Texas

    IMG_76431.jpg
Hello, my name is Troy (a.k.a. troyfromtexas). I think that I am a pretty ordinary person, but I know that I have had extraordinary opportunities in my life. My passions include sports, hiking, fishing, motorcycling, photography and adventure travel. I'm a Native Texan which means that I am honest, gentlemanly, proud, strong willed, entrepreneurial and adventurous. I was born and raised in Texas and now call Austin, Texas my home. I've owned hammocks since the 90s, but started hammock camping probably about 8 years ago. I have a blog where I write about travel, hiking, camping and backpacking called www.theadventurebegins.tv. I'm on other social media @troyfromtexas.

Not if you're joining Hammock Forums, you're not.
We're all obsessed with hanging between two trees and go out of our way to brag about the comfort of our sleeping arrangements, which is downright weird.
Glad to have you aboard, even if you are ordinary.
    Cheers!

Welcome! Your link has a comma in it, needs the period.

And he's right as rain! What do you even mean, talking about hammock obsessions. There is NO SUCH THING! REALLY!!!!

    Thanks.

I wouldn't blame an Aggie for feeling uncomfortable in Austin. We Longhorns try to keep it that way so that we can enjoy the 70 degree winter temperatures all by ourselves.

Lol, nice. You and I will get along great.

I never said uncomfortable, Austin is still Texas after all. Just not my favorite place in Texas.

(A&M Corpus and Galveston still got you beat on weather though. )
