Greetings all,

Was introduced to the concept of hammocks by my brother almost 3 years ago and haven't looked back. I found the comfort (and lack of stiffness the next morning) a revelation. I now just wanna go camp and canoe.

So far I've done multiple 1-4 night canoe expeditions in the wind, rain, snow and even got 3 nights on loch Lomond last year without a cloud in the sky (no tarp required so v. rare).

Have been using a DD frontline, tarp and UQ to great effect but thought I'd take advantage of a black friday sale and buy a wwbb xlc and...tent like tarp. Still trying to find a comfy setup and perfect my DIY sooki. Used last weekend and was cold and uncomfy so much faffing still to be done.

...and as for tarpless nights in Loch Lomond... I think we're going to need photo's.

Keep at it fella, you'll dial in the magic. Hoping to get back to Scotland again this year, but may have to slum it in Wales.

The problem with photos are they demonstrate how untidy I keep my camps. This is the day beforeIMG_20180526_081706~2.jpg the midges woke for the year. I had my brekkie on the water and there was zero faff.
