Has anyone tried using dog leashes as tree straps or suspension lines?
I have couple of these laying around and looks like free webbing to me...
Anythought?

They are very likely made of nylon webbing, and will stretch significantly when you hang from them.

PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
Seriously, I've done it before when I've forgotten a proper tree strap. I didn't notice any stretch - I always have a leash in the car. It may have been because my dogs have already put so much tension on the leashes that they were pre-stretched. We have heeling dogs now, but it didn't come easily.

Dollar Tree: dog leashes (and collars!) one dollar each.
ive seen it done. this kid i knew "made" a "hammock" by taking 2 dog leashes and puting them through the loop to make a larks head and using that to "whip" then ends and tieing to trees. was not comfy.
