DD Hammock Underblanket okay for mostly summer?

I'm pretty new to hammocking, and while I've got my XLC, and it's beautiful, I'm sort of hung up on price atm for quilts - I know that makes me sound cheap, sorry. I know for a fact I won't be out in cold weather, but I'm wondering if DD Hammock quilts are good? I haven't been able to turn anything up here or on Reddit that's recent. People say their customer service is good, and the quality is good, an older YouTube video said it was warm enough, but I'd like some feedback on weather their under- or top- "blankets" are good for basic warmth in the spring through fall. I don't anticipate being out if it's under 50º.

I also tend to be one of those "cool" body temp people, though.

Any feedback on the DD quilts would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know why you would be looking at DD quilts if you never plan on sleeping below 50* F. You can get an economy HG 3/4 Phoenix 40* UQ that weighs 13.04 ounces for $89.95. A 30* Phoenix is 15.55 ounces and $99.95.

A DD UQ will cost $97.95 and weigh 33 ounces, unless you've found some deal I can't find. The HG Phoenix will be duck down, whereas the DD will be synthetic.

Thank you for the reply. The DD under blanket is $87 at the moment, and my thought was I'd rather buy more than I need than buy less - I like to sleep warm. Once in a blue moon there may be a sub-50, but I just don't plan on it being enough to justify a second setup.

An HG quilt will have actual resale value - 70% to 85% if it's in good shape. You probably couldn't give away a 33 ounce synthetic DD Hammock UQ. Just saying - one's a good investment you could actually hike with, while the other is not.
