Here are 2 different hammock and tarp all-in-one suspension options that anyone can make themselves. Be sure that your tarp tie outs have some type of shock cord self adjusters. Both systems are strong with high weight rating. Both allow users to quickly wrap around and adjust for most tree sizes as well as quick attach/detach hammock and tarp on an all-in-one suspension. Both use Warbonnet Fishooks to connect to your hammock loops and the Dutchware Titanium ridgeline biners connect to your tarp.
**Both systems can be lighter and less expensive by removing some of the hardware and using knots instead.**

Dyneema or UHMWPE with Tree Huggers Suspension
Total Weight: 5.7 oz (pair) Cost around $120
- 4’ Simply Light Designs or AHE tree huggers x2
- 10’ Warbonnet dynema or Dutchware UHMWPE straps x2
- Warbonnet Outdoors Fishooks x2
- Adutchable clips by Dutchware Gear x2
- Dutchware Titanium ridgeline biners x2
- Some lash-it and dyneema loops
Lighter but for more advanced users since some knots are used. Connect the dyneema straps to the huggers...this allows huggers to stay flat while the dyneema will get wrinkles. The tree huggers adjust to tree width via Adutchable clips and the hammock suspension slides up and down dyneema then tying off with becket hitch on Fishooks. Tarp slides up and down on line via Klemheist (or Prussik) knot. The little yellow lashit loops just make it easier to slide up and down the suspension and the Fishooks lock in place better with a small amsteel loop that is larks headed around suspension. (Shoutout to Myers-Tech). You could save some money by using regular hammock biners in place of Adutchable clips and tie a girth hitch around biners.

Tree Straps with Buckles Suspension
Total Weight : 9.0 oz (pair) Cost around $100
- 14 ‘ Arrowhead Equipment treep straps x2
- Dutchware Gear Titanium Clips x2
- Dutchware Spiders x2
- Warbonnet Outdoors Fishooks x2
- Dutchware Titanium ridgeline biners x2
- Some lash-it loops
- Dutchware June Bug buckles x2
(you could also use DWG Beetle Buckles instead of WB Fishooks and DWG June Bugs)
Slightly heavier, but better for the no fuss setup type of person. Pretty easy to use setup with the most notable difference being the Dutchware titanium spiders. These slide up and down suspension and lock in place with a small lashit loop then clips on to tarp with titanium biners. (Shoutout to Shortround)
