In the pictures on HG’s website there is a darker line running horizontal about 1 foot from the bottom of the Palace tarp. Is that a seam or is it just a fold?
It is not on the Standard.

    It's the taped seam.

    It's taped and strong.

However, yours is a good point for people not familiar with Cuben (DCF) that 'taped' does not imply 'weak'!

Yes, I indeed have a HG standard and I am familiar with strengths of the bonded seams. I am thinking of jumping into making a DCF tarp for tandem hanging and would like to make the sides longer than the available material. I was curious if they had a custom width material.

    Once again... We are aligned.

I had made a KitsapCowboy Glasgow Asym in supply and just started laying out plans for a cuben version. It would normally require XL fabric and has no ridge seam in order to accommodate multiple ridge tie out points. It's going to take some seam work to get to the width I need.
