    Streamliner UQ question

    Howdy!

For those of you with Streamliners, what do you use for UQs? Do the cat cut sides of the hammock create any special considerations when looking at or building UQs?

    Thanks!

The cat cut sides make no difference when using an underquilt. Here's my fleet: JRB greylock 3 and 4, HG Phoenix 40 and HQ full length 0 degree econ Incubator.

You should be good to go with anything designed for a gathered and hammock. Enjoy the streamliner!

Agreed, makes no difference. Only consideration for me would not getting such a wide UQ that my view is blocked. No issue with my reg incubator.

The Streamliner makes you lay a little straighter because that’s where the sweet spot is. So, an UQ like the Wooki may not fit as well because it has a fixed angle. That’s just an educated guess though. But most traditional UQ’s will adapt to any lay angle, so no concerns there. You may even get by with a slightly shorter and/or narrower UQ on a Streamliner.
