    OH>April Planning Thread

Anyone heading out this month? I'm gonna be unavailable from 4/19 to 4/28, so I need to get out the first part of month. Of course, post here no matter when you want to get out!

Depending on location I could possibly do the 13th nite.

I know that I just returned from RRG but I might go back this weekend 5 th or 6 th . I would like to see it again before the foliage takes over. Unless something is happening somewhere else.

Probably can't make it happen this month, but I'd love to get out next month. I'll keep my eye out for May.

I'm not from OH, but close enough that, also depending on location, I could make a trip over to hang.

    So we have :
    11x- Possible on the 13th
TreesCompany- RRG on the 5th and 6th
Swingwrecker- Hope to see you next month!
Grunt- We don't often get to the west side of ohio. If you know of a site close to the border, let us know. Also, Red River Gorge might work for you. Check with TreesCompany for his trips.

Unfortunately, I'm out this weekend. The Mother in Law is ill again and I'm on backup duty. So, I'm only going to have the middle of the month. 11x, what works for you? You probably know southern OH better than I do.

I will be honest, it will be my maiden voyage here in Ohio. I typically travel to Wv and camp on a piece of property I own over there. I will look into the old man’s cave area. I hear a lot of guys talking about it.

Old Man's Cave has a "walk in Primitive site". Basically, a chained off road with campsites along it. Easy in, easy out, but you might have neighbors. Zaleski is down there if you don't mind a hike in. Redwing knows more about Z than I do. Some other sites down there, but I haven't been to them....

Wildcat gets a bad rap but I have had good experiences there. There are some nice campsites but the parking lot can get crowded on nice weekends . Nice place for short trips. Is Archers fork close to you?
