    Yeah my state's famous for a fake spring. 5 or so years ago we got 2 feet on mother's day. The snow and cold aren't a big deal but the wind is. They are predicting another "Bomb Cyclone" on this one. I'll test my skills in the backyard

    This just sounds like you need to gain some elevation and watch it from on high- try rainbow lake @ 10200'- west of the divide- of course you may have to wait till spring to hike out. if that ever happens. HYOH
