There is no trail to the campsites that I am aware of. The sites however are connected by trail. There are other trails within and throughout the park. You may want to arrange a ride with someone that may have a bigger boat that can pick you up at the landing

Signed up. Thank you for organizing! I'm not clear on the boat in part. I have a beginners kayak I could bring for fun but not sure I want to use it to carry gear. We don't need a boat?

If you do not have a boat to get to the site, you will need to arrange to be picked up at the boat landing.Frank has been generous enough to be available for pick up. Please arrange your pickup through him if needed. Anybody have a party barge?

Wow, that happened fast! Just like that we have are 12. This is shaping up to be an epic weekend on the flowage. I am looking forward to the shenanigans! I do wish this park had a group site with water access so we can get more individuals to this hang. With that said, I have reserved the third and last boat in site "Island View". This is the closest site to the landing and is also connected by trail to the other two sites that we will be occupying. There are now an additional six openings! WooHoo. Get in while you can; they will go fast.

There is no running water except for that in the flowage.. I will have a gravity filter at Pine beach but suggest that you bring a personal filter for your water needs. The toilets are your typical back country pit toilets (not a lot of privacy, but set back away from the campsites). Wood can be purchased at the park or surrounding area or scavenged from the forest. I believe Pine Beach had a bear box but you should plan on hanging your food bag just in case the sites do not have one or they are non-functional.

Hey Harley, I would like to go to this hang, but I can not see the sites you are talking about. You said there are 6 left, but I do not know which ones. Do I need to reserve in the family campground? I have a small 16' fishing boat that goes slow when loaded, though I would be happy to ferry people around.

You need to open them from a browser window. There is room at the third site as of now. I reserved three boat in sites which allow 6 persons per site, and your boat is a welcome addition. There is no group site and the regular campground is not on the water.
