Peak & Co Bug net on Amazon: Worth it?

I have a DIY fronkey style made from military grade bug net. In my search for a lighter, packable, affordable replacement I came across this on Amazon.

It's almost cheap enough to risk trying out and claim to only weigh 9 oz.
Anyone else heard of this before?

    URL should be corrected now.

Your link has errors. Never heard of it but its the same mass produced ENO copy knock off as a thousand other hammock products on Amazon. Its cheap, it would work, probably last you a season or two. Personally I wouldn't touch that stuff for any amount of cheapness. I stick with our tried and true cottage vendors even if it is a little bit more expensive. You get much, much higher quality workmanship.

That's kind of what I figured. I might just look for a good deal on raw material and build a new lighter one.
    This is my old one.

I think you'll be much happier with the end product and it will feel much more rewarding. Instead of making Bezos a little more wealthy you've enriched yourself.

Any suggestions on light weight yet strong bug net fabric? I see several mesh sizes and material but I don't yet have a good feel for which is optimal. My target weight will be 300g, half my current net.

Here's the DIY kit from Ripstop By The Roll. The standard .9oz bug net should be around 6-9oz when finished. The material is quite strong.
