Doing Our Thing for the Economy

Last year was the year of Guns and Ammo. This year is the year of Hammock Stuff. So what have you done lately for the economy?? I need more "stuff" should be the theme of all us outdoors folks. The economy must be okay because we sure are buying "stuff" here. Here is my contribution: 1 WBBB 1.1 double, 2 sets of Opies whoopies, 1 ULA catalyst, 1 BBO from AHE, dutch clips, grip clips, yards and yards of camo materials for DIY, Insultex from Mac, more wood stove stuff for experiments, food, gas, trips, etc., etc, etc.

We've got so much "stuff" we've got to buy another house to store our "stuff" - George Carlin - or something to that effect. So get out there and BUY, BUY, Buy.

I've spent quite a bit on hammock "stuff" in the last year, but that pales in comparison to the eleven grand I just dropped on a new Polaris Ranger. It ain't cheap, bein' a redneck.

If you are interested in supporting our economy make sure and spend the money on gear made in the USA.

Since this time last year, I've bought 2 WBBB's (1.7 doubles), a MacCat Deluxe tarp, a WB Big MamaJamba tarp, a WB Yeti UQ, and a Speer Snugfit UQ. My wife and I are well set up.

Just ordered a WB Travler, at least I think I have. The order reply looked a little odd, and no conformation from WBG yet. Thinking he's just busy and I'll hear something in a week or so.

I am planning to order a new tarp: I was trying to decide between 2 choices 1) wait till SWT comes back into stock, guess that option is now not going to happen. At least I have one already before they became history. Or 2) wait and check out the OES tarps at Trail Days if I have opportunity to go again this year and if Brian is coming down this year.

Dropped $1500 to send my son to BSA National Jamboree this July. Does that count ?

Thinking about ordering or making whoopie slings, and need some tree straps. Not yet decided on source.

I buy stuff and sell it two weeks later at a big discount, so I'm helping the manufacturer and the consumer.

I ordered a 'bird, and all I have is a PayPal receipt...no order confirmation...you're right, it seems odd.

I ordered a blackbird and yeti and it only took about a week to get them. Brandon does a great job! I also ordered a burrow top quilt from stormcrow it should be here in a week or so.
