    Question Tammock Hammock/tent

Has anyone seen the Tammock hammock thing on kickstarter? What do you think? Are there any other products close? I did see on a youtube video quite a while ago someone had a hammock and the bugnet went all the way to the ground and made almost like a little tent. It looked pretty slick. Does anyone know what that could have been?

    looks awful, to be honest.

it's a tiny hammock, on a walmart stand clone, with a teeny tent clipped over it

There was a guy on here who had built essentially a 4 person sized tent with sleeves to allow a hammock to hang thru it (so he could hang with tent dweller family i think)

I really like the large bug net idea that could cover the complete area under your tarp so you could sit under you tarp in a bug free area. Just wondering if there was something already made like that.

There are similar products, that may or may not work with specific tarps. Here's a for instance, the Gossamer Gear Bug Canopy: https://sectionhiker.com/gossamer-gear-bug-canopy/

And maybe a few other links:

Thanks sidneyhornblower. I wish I could find that video again. The bug net this guy had looked like it went all the way from the edges of his tarp all the way to the ground and around the entire perimeter under his tarp. I'll keep looking.

It looked similar to the Nemo bugout 9x9 but his tarp was not in diamand form. Looked more square or rectangle. But the bugout might work for what I'm looking for.

I do wish it was larger.

You may verify this is big enough for your hammock.

I just saw the kickstarter. Interesting concept (not entirely original, but still). It looks like the hammock is way too short to be at all comfortable.
