Pretty soon I will have the dl 1.1 traveler in my hands... now to lose the pounds so I don't stretch it out! Regarding the stretch, if and when it happens, is the stretch permanent? Does it corrupt the hammock forever?!? I'm interested to feel lie of the hammock in comparison to my ENO singlenest. I'm a broad shouldered so my shoulders tended to keep the skinnier hammock opened up. Never problems with shoulder squeeze.

Those that have the travelers, what do you use for storage in the hammock? 2QZQ ridgeline organizer, peak bag, ENO possum pocket? Other ideas?

    Traveler Storage

REI sells these super light Schwag bags. They're part mesh, part silnylon and clip right to the ridgeline. Here is the link:http://www.rei.com/product/681993
I stuff my traveler in it's stuff sack and then right into the schwag bag. They are cheap and come in a two pack

I've been meaning to ask about the fabric on the Traveler, very nice and durable but
anyone know what type? It is not the same as my Blackbird. I looked on the web site
and unless I missed it ? I'd like to find some for DIY projects.

WOW!!!! The traveler is amazing! I like the 1.1 material on my traveler way better than the 1.7 on my blackbird and even better than my eno single. This thing is wide! I do not think I found an uncomfortable spot to lay. the ridgeline took out any guesswork for adjustment. I think the only problem that I have with it is that I don't want to get out and so I cannot get done what I need to get done! It is very light! I had switched suspension and put some whoopies on there. I don't have a scale but I think that my eno single is a little lighter, but the traveler has the better comfort hands down! I do miss the side pocket on my eno, but its not too big of a deal. Altogether a magnificent piece of gear!

Is one a 1.7 and the other a 1.1? Those fabrics are different

    OK Y'all,

I"M IN TOO!! After much consideration, I finally made the leap and ordered the DL Traveler 1.7 with the adjustable straps a little while ago . Now I can't wait to get it and try it out! Next on the list is a tarp and then, maybe some Whoopie slings. I presently have a 10X12 camo poly tarp that I've been using as my shelter. Although it's not that light, it did keep me dry during a 7 hr downpour on my last trip in late May. Everyone else in my group got soaked
