    Actually this was done with some sort of mesh at Wal-Mart. I think it is used for making veils or something. It looks big enough for keeping skeeters out and I am treating it with Permethrin. I calculated the weight if I make the same thing from ultra light noseeum to be ~3.26 ounces.

    Full tube. I used the plans for a "sock" at Just Jeff's site with a couple of slight modifications. 360 degree bug protection.

    If it's the larger netting, it's tulle... I have some laying about... I'll have to give that a try!

    That is what my wife called it.

    Funny thing is they actually had a remnant of noseeum there, unfortunately there was only about 1.5 yards and you need 4 yards to make one. Next to each other they didn't really look that different in hole size. Of course I realize at that small a hole, eyeball calibration is not perfect.

    I'll post a diagram of what I did at some point.

    nice job Rock....nice weight also,now i need to rethink my bugnet
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
