    Good, reflective, spliceable tieout cordage

I currently have tarp tieouts that I made out of Reflect It. However, I find that it snags on twigs and leaves entirely too easily.

I'm unable to find any other reflective options that are spliceable. I like to splice loops in the end of my tieouts. I'm looking for something in the neighborhood of 1.75mm. Have I missed something?

Actually, as I was writing this up, I found Catzye Reflective Hammock Line over at Litesmith, but they don't appear to offer a daylight visible color anymore. Maybe it's just out of stock?

I have looked at Lawson Equipment's Glowire (big fan of their bear line), but it's not spliceable.

    Thanks,
    Ben

It's probably just out of stock, not permanently unavailable.

I agree with your observations on Reflect-It. And you're correct about Glowire, and just about every other reflective option, not being spliceable.

I use Reflect-It and sometimes lament its drawbacks. I don't really enjoy splicing it either, as I find it hard to avoid splicing the strands without splitting the fibers of a strand. If it were coated like Lash-It, it would probably be easier to work with, both during splicing and in the field.

Yet to find a reflective cord that is takes splices.

I am using Z-Packs 1.2 Reflective Z-Line for a while and see no need to change. I tie a Double Dragon in each end that passes through the Tarp Worm. It's available in 2.3 as well.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I have used hi visibility mason string. It is a royal PITA to splice though.

I always like going SOBO; somehow, it feels like going downhill.
