IMHO yes. I was checking the difference the other day between the 70D in a traveler and the blackbird I picked up in the dream tex. The dream tex was the far superior fabric. The 70D feels rough and stiff in comparison. As far as sag I didn't feel much difference.

I ordered a true blue single layer 70d El Dorado. Never tried a WB hammock before, figured this would be cheaper way to give it a go. I like the fact that I can change the lay by switching around the bugnet. In my Dutch half zip, it's head left. I tried out a symmetrical hammock and found that head right seemed more comfortable and natural to me.

I also noticed that WB hammocks don't have pack hooks for hanging an underquilt. I have a HG Phoenix, so I'll see how it works. I did see suggestions to sew on pack hooks to handle any slippage with the primary suspension.

Can't wait to try it out.

Well, my wife's gonna be pissed.

I got one in orange with a charcoal winter cover.

It was an "I can't afford not to" moment

I couldn't pull the trigger on the Eldorado, even at this steal of a price. Money is just too tight for me right now. But I did grab a Traveler on sale since I have yet to experience a Warbonnet GE. Can't wait to give it a go!

The hg quilt will be better without the clips and what not.

Had to go with an Autumn Orange El Dorado in the dream text fabric. Haven't tried a Warbonnet hammock. Yet. Now, for the waiting part...

I had to go for the El Dorado in the 70d olive green. Came out to like $86 shipped. I wanted an asym hammock but I prefer head right since I'm left handed. I love what I've read about this hammock and being able to convert it to asym in either direction.

Don't know if I can stand to part with either of my other hammocks though. Maybe the wife won't notice one more?

Dang, now I just have to decide between whether or not I want a single layer or a double layer!
    Maybe I need both?!
