    Dark Red Fabric Color

Does anyone have the new dark red fabric and would you say that it approaches a maroon or burgundy color? It's a bit hard to tell from the website. I went to Texas A&M so I have a soft spot for maroon gear. Thanks!

I can take a picture tonight, but I would say it is not approaches that sweet Aggie Maroon (WHOOP!). It is a beautiful color for sure though. In my mind I would describe it as a darker rust red.

Aggie Maroon is Pantone 7421C. Actually just made a DIY hammock for my mother in some fabric printed from RBTR.

Hey Monte, thanks for the reply! I figured it wouldn't be an exact match, but if it's in the ballpark I'll be happy. As long as it's not orange!

I went ahead and pulled the trigger to take advantage of the Memorial Day sales. I look forward to getting it!

The picture is the WB RR suspended at 16'
The stand I choose to use is 1” EMT piping which can be found at your local hardware store. The first was 10’ 3
legged stand which I found more give inward needing to secure the middle with a strap. Overall needed a shorter
version with 1” EMT. Height was 5’ being able to pick up and move around if needed also fit in my Prius.
Eye bolts come in handy to hang lights etc.
The length various on the hammock; RR bridge recommends 15” so that would to 2 6’ and a 4’ distance is 16‘ also
with my Nemo works well at 12Â’. Overall this really depends on your hammock of choice bridge or gathered WB Blackbird.
The Amok recommendation the shorter distance recommended 8Â’ best is 10Â’ two 5Â’ pieces.
For stability meaning flex inward I use 3 poles inward 2 5Â’ footers outer
and inner one 6Â’. Best if needed is a top and bottom rails 12Â’ makes this one solid piece.
Finally location SW desert my location or parks donÂ’t care for hammocks I just set my stand even
walk in sites like Death Valley just a few trips and done.
This has became the norm trees or not.
Whatever stand you use they are handy.
