    DIY Lash/Zing-it Splicing Needle

Picked up these needles at Walmart for $3 and change while looking for wire to splice Lash-it with. Took the biggest one, cut off the tip and sanded it with wet sand paper til smooth and round, and then heated the eye with a butane torch and spread it a bit wider with pliers so the Lash-it fits through. It's long enough that you can feed enough Lash-it onto it to get a great bury, and sturdy enough that it's super easy to grasp and pull through. Also since I cut off the sharp tip and sanded it smooth, it doesn't grab the fibers and mess up the Lash-it when you poke it through. Works like a dream!

I use plastic canvas needles. They come with blunt tips and also work nicely. Thank you for another great option.
