Catch-All Sack -- 1st time using... Love it

1st time using the SLD Catch-All Sack. I love it. A great way to leave camp or leave your stuff hanging for the day w/o worry that some critter (or insects) may get into your gear.... also lifts it up off the ground a bit, so you're less susceptible to rains / storms.

When we go out fishing all day in the BWCA, this is a great option to secure things up for the day, come what may.

Inside this sleeve is: 11' Hammock w/ integrated bugnet, 30deg UQ + 40deg TQ + Nemo Fillo Pillow.
Plenty of room to spare to carry down to my 20deg set.
    Size: 10ft - Std Width

Have't used it yet as an option to Pack Everything at once... not sure that I will.... but, I WILL be taking this on trips... or as in this photo, wrapping everything up for they day while at work for the next night!

Thanks for the review! I might look into this for when I try to hang in my backyard to keep the neighborhood cats away from my UQ instead of having to take everything into the house (multi nights out or bailing).
If you do try to use it for packing everything at once, give an update.
Wondering if this would be easier for some trips and how well it manages to compress it all into your pack bs stuffing things in individually.

Iíve been using mine for well over a year and love it.

As far as packing goes, Iíve found it far simpler than using individual stuff sacks for UQ, TQ, and hammock. I shove the entire catchall into a compactor bag at the bottom of my pack. I feel like it takes up much less room than packed individually. On the flip side, of your pack is relatively empty, it fills the space nicely.

What I like most is setup. Hang one end with the catchall still in the pack, then walk your pack over to the next tree letting it trail behind you and hang the far end. Except for a little fluffing, youíre done. No UQ to hang, no TQ to unpack and get into the hammock. I even leave my pillow in the hammock.

I have been thinking about getting one of these for a while now, but just became convinced. Another sale made from a testimonial.

So for an 11' hammock do I NEED the 10'version? Would the 8' version work just fine or would I have problems? I want one but I just need help figuring out what length I need ha

You want it long enough to wrap around your quilts. I found the 10í to be just right.

My 10' one is basically full with 11 foot hammock + quilts. I don't think they'd fit in an 8' one.
