    I think most find them to modular and don't want to deal with the learning curve.
    All the insulation bits may put them off too.
    The fact that they are not mainstream for camping makes me a bit happy.

    Sleep -- how much I get and the quality of it -- is something I value very highly in my life, not just while backpacking. Woe betide the person who deliberately keeps me awake to have a conversation; that behavior has ended more than one relationship.
