The office/welcome center is a house (there is a sign and parking lot) instead of turning left onto Holesclaw Hill Rd. stay straight on Mitchell Hill Rd. The office is a short distance on the left. Just let them know your with the group for group sight #3 and they should hand you a packet and give you the gate combination. They have never asked me for a name when I have picked it up. The camp site is on the Horine Section of the map.

Reminds me, I have a Helionx One camp chair with some duck feet (to keep the feet from sinking) I am looking to get rid of. Used 4 times before I realized my knees would not allow that to happen any longer. $75. I will bring it along, just in case.

Good, someone may want/need it! I have no use for a backpacking chair, I use my hammock when I am primitive camping as a chair.

I'm headed up no matter what, thunderstorms not withstanding. Like riding, it's one thing to get caught in a storm, and another to seek it out on purpose. I want to try out a new hammock (not much different that my existing one) and get some skins installed. I dont have any other free weekends until December, so this will be my last chance to get out and camp while the weather holds.
