Advice please UL Scout

Several years ago, I did a Wood Badge ticket called the $100 scout, I was able to build a UL kit together for a scout for about $100. Time jump to this year and I am trying to replicate but have hit a $150 wall. The intent is to help start scouts off at sub 10 pounds base with a kit they can grow quickly from the big 3(Pack, Quilt, shelter). Any advice is appreciated. Quest Outfitters DIY kit $43.00 I have the patterns so just fabric purchase as little as $20. This is the clasic G-4 pack that mosr modern UL packs were based on.

2. Quilt

Please keep this on the hammock topic. If it moves from hammocks to other gear such as stoves, cook pots, packs, etc it will get moved to the Donating member section which will do the OP no good.
