WL Lazy Slug Tub or SLD Catch-all sack?

Any pros or cons you want to share on either one?

Bob had a good video on Youtube about using the WL Lazy Slug tube. I've never used one, but he outlined the benefits in the video. Unless you find a used one, youll have to buy another brand as you can't buy a new one from Marty anymore.

I've got the first version (all sil) of the SLD Catchall and I like it. Jared has since updated his version so there's a strip flog no-seeum that helps bent air when compressing it.

Lots of good intel here: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...catch-all-sack

I just got my 9 footer with venting mesh from Jared. Planning on using it next week for a 3 day trip to AR.

I have both and prefer the SLD Catch-All Sack. However, I only use this type of sack at home or for car camping. I store my everynight-hammock plus underquilt in the Catch-All Sack. In the morning, I just pull it over hammock and underquilt, unclip it from the suspension, and hang it on the wall. Easy to take down, easy to put up, and the contents is well protected during the day. The way I hang the hammock on the wall, the Lazy Slug Tube tends to split open in the middle. It's also more bother to pull the hammock into two sleeves instead of just one.

I use the SLD Catch-all Sack. Love it! I put a WB BB XLC, TQ, UQ and UQ Cover along with a deflated pillow in a regular, 9 foot model with plenty of room. I use the SLD Single Skin Stuff Sack for my tarp and rate that very highly as well.

I bought an early version of the SLD Catchall before Jared put the mesh strip along the length. I contacted him about adding it to mine and he did it for a very reasonable charge and super fast...from my door and back in 5-6 days!

I used to put my TQ and UQ into a waterproof compression sack. The catchall sack offers a much faster set up and take down and compresses well in the bottom of my pack with just a little pressure and patience.
