New bugnet/UQ protector: Enlightened Equipment Centurion

    https://enlightenedequipment.com/centurion-custom/

At $150 it ain't cheap but it does have some advantages:
    - Zippered bugnet, whereas most add-on bugnets are bottom entry
    - bottom half is a UQ protector, which also makes the hammock a bit warmer and blocks wind
    - Pull-outs
    - Lightest config is 5.8 oz

For comparison, my Dutchware bottom-entry bugnet is also 5.8oz and $57, but includes none of those features. An UQ protector is another ~$50 and another ~6 oz.

Looks like a nice piece of gear for anyone who wants to go light, or dislikes bottom entry bugnets, or would regularly carry a separate UQ protector.

I would compare this with Dutch's summer sock instead of the bottom entry. The summer sock does come with a built-in UQP and a zippered entry. The difference from EE's Centurion are the lack of pullouts (seems like an easy fix), choice of colors, twice the weight, and half the price. Since this is currently out of stock on Dutch's site, you're sort of limited to EE anyway.

I saw that yesterday when EE sent out the announcement. $130 if you pre-order it (depending on fabric) and it did kind of catch my eye. I'm not a fan of having to deal with "head left" or "head right" configuration since I flip flop back and forth all night, but I wouldn't mind testing something like this out to see if I like it and could adapt. I'm always carrying an UQP anyway and this would be a nice addition to my SLD Voyageur so I could use it in bug season. Being able to adjust the underquilt from inside the cocoon is pretty cool, since trying to do that with my netted hammock (or adjust the UQP) is a pain since my zipper is one sided.
