OWL tarp now has holes...

Hi all,
I have an OWL tarp and was out hammock camping this past weekend and discovered 3 small holes in it generally in the same location. Did a little research here and from what I've read I need to know the fabric type to determine the fix for patch and seal. Is this the correct information? It's a few years old and I'm not a mainstream hammocker so I don't even remember the model (for some reason Old Man Winter rings a bell) but it is 13' long, has doors on each end, is black and has the pole mod to lift the tarp up and away from the hammock.
Any help is really appreciated with directing me to the correct product fix and any special directions if needed. I did read about Marty so that's why I'm posting here.

I believe all Wilderness Logics tarps were made from silnylon.

If so, do you know if there is a specific product for repairing? Find a piece of silnylon and seam seal?

Tenacious tape should do the job. You can even get it in black.

I would probably start with Tenacious Tape- which most folks tend to have great results with. But since I've never dealt with this issue, I would probably defer to someone who has more experience with these types of repairs. I'm sure if you reach out to some of the cottage vendors, they would be happy to point you in the right direction. UGQ, Warbonnet, and Hammock Gear all make tarps.

Tenacious tape will definitely do well. I'd put a thin spread of silicone around the seam of the tape for good measure. Get silicone made for nylon like silnet

Having never used Tenacious Tape, is it applied to the tarp inside or out? Should the tarp be taught or slack? What's the cure time?

I am having difficulty seeing the whole in the photo. With that in mind, I'd use GE Silicone II, thinned with Mineral Spirits. Brush on the area on the outside of your tarp, then wipe off. If the hole is too large, apply a samll peice of tenacious tape on the inside and repeat the thinned sillicone.

That said, I have a few very small holes in my Superfly through which I can see light but they don't really allow water through.

Seam sealer fills pin holes from sparks or evergreen needle pokes.

Tenacious tape covers bigger stuff.

Just find a flat area you can work on it- spread it flat and apply the seam sealer or tenacious tape.
I'd start with the inside of the tarp... that would let you smear a second layer on the outside.

Unless your name is OCD related... then you may want to do the repair on the outside so you can't see it from the inside.
Or is that worse?... then others can see it and you'd have to stay hidden under the tarp so you didn't have to explain the repair to people.

And yes... likely an Old Man Winter and as Rick mentioned Marty worked with Sil-Nylon so you don't have to worry about PU coated stuff.
