The God's have worked against me on this trip. The Gf just got back from two weeks worth of work related travel, so this is our catch up/QT weekend. Of course I went camping last weekend in the monsoon but at least I managed to get out. Have fun and be safe. Also I have something in the works for May up near Hamburg PA I will keep everyone posted as the planning comes together.
I had a great time meeting some new faces and seeing some old. It is always great to get out and use some of this gear I have been accumulating. I have to get out for some more local overnighters since I already blew all my vacation. Maybe next time we can shuttle some cars and hike a section.

I was up at the Eagles Nest Friday on a day hike.
Was hoping to run into all of you but I had to head back at 3:45p.
I parked at the Gamelands parking lot north of Shartlesville and took the gravel road up to the AT, approx. 45mins walk.
I hope everyone had a good time - wish I could've camped out with you.
A tenter came up while I was at the shelter and we talked about hammocks. He seemed really interested. I hope we get another convert.
The Eagles Nest has a lot of good spots to hang from.
