Stock 11 ft 1.6 Hexon Dutchware Chameleon standard width body with symmetrical bug net, sidesling and SLD saddlebags. Most ridgelines I've seen from cottage vendors will come shipped around 110" inches and can stretch out to 113". Finally I got an adjustable ridgeline and found that the sweet spot for me as a side sleeper was 106". Anything beyond that starts to meddle with the net and hammock body configuration as well as potential undue stress. I can sleep on my back and fall asleep but usual i am awoken by my snoring and sleep apnea due to my belly. So I prefer to side sleep but find when I do in a gathered hammock my wide shoulders cause pressure on my arms and they fall asleep in the middle of the night. Also I find a taller pillow helps straighten the neck to align with body while side sleeping. When on back a minimal or no pillow works best for me so as not to compress my throat. I am doing this on my other open hammocks but wanted to show the difference in the Dutchware Chameleon to see if others can benefit or if have tried this themselves. If so do at your own risk a this is just my opinion and what is working for me.
Top image is stock ridgeline and bottom is adjustable at at 106".
