Question hammocks for large people 300lb+

are there any recommendations for hammocks for the larger person I am 6ft and 300lbish (not been on the scales recently) I have had back issues after an accident I had a few years ago I have bought a cheep set up form the internet and have had it out once but have a few other outings planned if all goes well I will be looking for an upgrade next year but weight limits may be an issue I feel regarding hammock and suspension I will mostly be car camping but may over time do some short hikes to sites I am located in central Scotland and need a bug net
    all help is greatly appreciated

Hennessey's single layer Safari deluxe XXL in classic & zip, as well as the double layer Jungle Safari zip XXL are good for 7ft tall & 350lbs.

Double layer Trail Lair in 1.6 & 1.9 ripstop are good for 350lbs & 400lbs...

I think Simon's Goshawk is a single layer & good for 285lbs...since they're made to order he might be able to make a double layer for you, drop him a email...lead time around 5wks.

I don't know if you're interested in bridge hammocks but Bill Townsend make a excellent hammock for heavy people called the Big Guy. May be more expensive than you want to go.

the 1.6 is rated to 350, or just go with a double layer

Consider Bear Butt. Cheap but good. 10 ft.

Warbonnet BlackBird, BB XLC and Eldorado available in DL that will hold you. I weigh 275+ and have been using a BB 1.7 DL for about 9+years.

While there are SL fabrics that will hold you, I recommend going with DL as it provides a firmer lay over using a SL.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Amok Draumr works for me. I am similar weight but not as tall as you and still got the XL version because it was available first. Even the standard Draumr will accommodate people up to 6'1" and 400#. I find it super comfortable. https://www.amokequipment.com/

    Good luck!
