Hi guys! We are thinking it's going to be hard for our group to make it this time. Ashley has a bone marrow donor!!! He should start the process sometime in August but our understanding is that it will take several months for him to recover. If all goes well, we will to come by camp at some point over the weekend but that might even be wishful thinking.

Hate to miss it but we are really excited to start the process! I don't guess anyone would consider moving the event to a park in Atlanta...

Tammy, tell Ashley that we are all thinking of him and wish him a speedy recovery! If you guys can’t make the fall hang, I vote to have a winter hang whenever he feels up to it.

Tammy- That's wonderful news! Not the part that you won't be there... the part about having the donor! We will definitely plan a Part 2 as soon as Ashley feels up to it. Y'all just let us know. Y'all will surely be missed, but you'll be in everybody's thoughts and prayers.

October 18, 19, 20 is the weekend after the spousal unit's and my 25th anniversary. All I can say is that's a long time to be married to the wrong man. Not sure if I can swing a group hang that weekend but we'll endeavor to do so.

I'm down for sure for a winter hike in and hang if someone wants to put one together. Winter is always easier and more enjoyable for me.
