Just got back from wolfpen...no fires allowed, (posted)....no homeless there, only one camper, with an open fire in violation of the ban.......campsites looked open/clear, not overgrown.....fire restrictions through 1 Nov 2019...

Thanks for the heads up on the no burn ban, I looked around but didn’t see anything.

Someone could call the forest service and see or just tell them if the place catches on fire it wouldn't us!

Or ask if we could have a Indian campfire

I'll put a small charcoal grill in the truck and a propane heater we can seat around.

UPDATE: It appears that Ashley and I will be able to come this year. His chemotherapy did not kill enough of the bad cells in his blood for a transplant to be successful, therefore no transplant at this time. They will put him on another trial medication when a slot becomes available. Until then, he gets blood drawn 2xs a week, transfusions as needed, and wait for a call from Emory. If his counts are high enough tomorrow, he will skip Thursday's blood draw and we will arrive mid afternoon on Thursday.

Don't guest I'll be bringing the charcoal grill. I don't have a small propane grill
I will still bring my 360 degree propane heater to seat around and my 17" gas griddle to cook on.
John I'll help you set up the tarp Thursday should be in a little after lunch.
Don't know if Jim will bring the 30x30 tarp? If you got the 24x24 we used the last time that will be great I. Not sure how many people are going to show up but the 24x24 worked out great the last time.
Does anybody know of anything I need to bring for Saturday nights supper? I'm sure we'll eat before we get back Friday night. If my wife doesn't get off early Friday we will be back around 8:00 pm or so?
I think Chemok (David) and his son (Josh) may be coming in with me Thursday and may be leaving back out with me Friday back to Tn A one nighter is better than a No nighter!
