    Glad to be of help. I can't stress enough how much I liked using the Avenza app and the free maps. I had one area along the river where I followed the two track and it didn't look right, but I had neglected to see the blue blaze in the brush. I found myself on the app, zoomed in and just started doing a circle until I got back on it again.

    Hiking the NCT is the best deal out there. You may or may not have a trailhead fee, depending on where you park, camping is free and solitude is guaranteed!

    WAY too warm for rain gear, left it at home. But that is still my go to jacket.

    Loved the pictures and the commentary. Not sure I liked the exertion factor that you pushed through with the miles and the temperature but that's why I like the cooler months/seasons.
