Thanks Tikker, I usually use a top quilt, but was asked how to get in a sleeping bag, the easiest way. That's why I made that small film...

he's the only guy I've seen swap the straps for whoopies on his Draumr too

I chatted with him about it, and he felt he straps always stretched on him over night

I can't say I've noticed, but whoopies are a pretty sexy suspension

    Good evening everyone....

When setting up the tenza4 and the xl, does the ground need to be level?

You can set up on a slope, but make the stand feet at the same level.

I agree. When setting up on a slope, it's best to rotate the stand as needed to make sure both feet are level.

Thanks for the replies on slope set up.

What is the proper was to attach the to attach the smoke straps to the ends of the tenza4 stand?

Also, have y'all seen the post that details buying a piece of flexible conduit style plumbing pipe to use as the "stick" to stretch out the head nets?
I am unable to find what that length needs to be.

I just attach the straps in the basic way, as illustrated on the strap itself. Attach the strap to just one pole at each end of the Tensa stand, preferably whichever pole end up closer to the centerline of the stand.

Yes, the tubing is 3/8" PEX. I can't tell you what length, and never measured myself. I suggest just cut long to begin with and shorten in small increments until you're happy with it. If it gets too short, it will pop out all the time.
