Last year was the first time I had been exposed to the hammock community when I went to this hang and dropped in for advice on Saturday. I was welcomed with open arms and given great advice.
Since this is pretty local for us, my wife joined us for the Saturday and Sunday so I brought our trailer. Even with the rain Friday night, we had a wonderful time. Stacy and my wife became fast friends with their shared Girl Scouting experience. Stacy and I took my kayaks out for a nice peaceful paddle on Saturday. The food was amazing as usual.
I called Tinkertom and booked a site for the trailer near the hang so my wife could join us at Lighthouse and Lobster. Thanks to all for welcoming my wife into our community.

So far, some fun pics! Looking forward to seeing more!

Hi folks, I did not take any pics but wanted to say to Jerry: Thank you so much for organizing the hang and doing so much work. Jerry seemed to never leave the kitchen (though I know he caught some fish). All the food was great and I really enjoyed taking my mountain bike for a walk. (ok I got to ride it too). So great to see everyone. Nice to meet some new folks and hope they come back (Jeff and Lisa). Thanks Chaaaz for the fly fishing instruction. See you all at the next hang.
This hang was a blast due to the friendly hospitality and outstanding food! I had many entertaining & enlightening conversations around the cooler, since it was too hot for a fire.
I slept in my newest hammock I made from 1.7oz. MTN XL Hybrid Ripstop Nylon (11'x54") and slept like a baby. Not even a hint of calf ridge!
I'm looking forward to the next hang with these fine folks!

I recommend taking a kayak and strong plastic oars on your next trip. The girl and I went on a similar trip and took 2 more kayaks for hire, it was ideal for meditation and relaxation
