Thanks UncleMJM,
I haven't not reserved a site yet. I would delight to take you up on your offer and fill in the vacancy.

It's been great to see a lot of positive comments on social media about the experiences people had at our recent fall hang and I was reminded that I hadn't posted a trip report here.
Time to fix that error.
Staff at the park we're glad we were there, the campers had a great time, and as I drove around the facility after the event, I saw very little evidence that we had been there. All that's excellent! I'm really looking forward to our next outing there!

Eleven years ago the fall hang began with 16 men, 6 women, a couple of pets, and 1 child. It has always been a family event and it's been really fun to see a large increase in attendance. This year we had 171 participants, nearly 50 women, and close to 30 kids and a like number of critters. 97 got up early for Saturday morning breakfast and 150 were fed at our Saturday evening pot luck.

I saw people helping one another, offering to help where a need appeared, and without being asked, wandering the grounds with trash bags and picking up. That was really heartwarming to see on all counts.

Lots of hands made the group events go well making it easier for those leading various aspects to be willing to do so again.
The special nature we enjoy as an amazingly diverse community that's a safe, friendly, caring group, almost right out of a Norman Rockwell print, continues to be strong and something for which I am extremely grateful and I really look forward to next year.
Spiguyver did a great job capturing the experience.
Thanks, Mike!

A large ziploc bag full of single-serve packets of teas/coffees/cider etc was left on the coffee table, and placed in my kit by mistake. I'd like to return it to its owner. Just let me know who/where.

While it's still fresh in our minds, now is the best time to make notes for next year's Texas Fall Group Hang planning. For those who joined us, please take a couple of moments to give your input though this brief survey. Thanks!
