Help identify possible UCRs

I found a pair of what I believe to be UCRs but I cannot understand how these work. All assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. I actually watched this today. In the video you talk about the gray 7/64 Amsteel sliding back and forth in the constrictor.

In my setup it is a loop. The knot that is near the loop is fixed and I can only pull the loop out some or retract it in. I am trying to figure our what I attach to the loop in the middle of the my picture. I have two buried loops at the end of each section of the line.

Just scratching my head trying to figure out the specific application for this.

OK OK...I got it. My taut line hitch was locked tight. Retied it and now it is working. Nothing more to see here. Sector 7 is secure! Thanks Shug!
