I have been lurking for a while, learning and putting together my own lollygagging kit. Have bought some box store products, but didn't know what I was doing. YouTube vids and info from this forum is sending me in the right direction. Started to make some DIY stuff, just cause I wanted to have more personal investment in what I use. Finally broke down and bought a Hammock Gear Top Quilt, but still going to use my DIY bottom quilt for a while. Made my Tarp, whoopie slings and assorted other assessories. Still trying to dial in my home made Hammock, but that is part of the fun in learning. The lessons stay with you longer.
