Signed up and really hoping to make it. It's a haul coming from the other side of the state, but it will be worth it if I can make it. I'm a n00b so it will be good to meet others and learn.

Loco Libre Gear
“My goal isn’t to reinvent the wheel, just to think outside the box…” – George “PoBoy” Carr
www.locolibregear.com
If you’ve had the privilege of meeting the owner, George, you know that he is creative, down to earth, and runs his company with integrity and kindness. Don’t let this sweet description fool you tho. He’s a Jersey boy who loves backpacking, so he can rough and tumble with the rest of us woodsy folk.
George stopped by the other day with his darling wife to drop off his raffle prizes and I was overwhelmed with the heart in which his products were made. From the designing and stitching to the naming of each quilt. Top Notch! Also, he supports Downtek, a supplier who adheres to the “Responsible Down Standard” and only uses down that is harvested ethically.
Thank you, Loco Libre Gear, for supporting the trail community and for donating:

Packit Gourmet
https://www.packitgourmet.com/
I’ve tried some cool and trendy backpacking brands and to be honest (let’s always be honest) they came up taste-short. Seriously. I’m a foodie who loves layers of flavor and like many people, have been short on prep time for trips, and have had to purchase pre-made foods to backpack with. WHOOOSssshhhh in comes Packit Gourmet with the bold and might I add "indigestion-free", sassy flavors. Seriously, when I interviewed Dutch on if he liked this company, after a deep breath he sounded off with a hearty, “Honestly, Kristal. They are the Chameleons of the backpacking food industry”. He claims that his favorite meal was “The 'Big Easy' Cajun Gumbo” (respectfully priced at 9.99). I mean, look at those colors and textures https://www.packitgourmet.com/BigEasyGumbo.html ! These easy-to-reconstitute meals will have you jazzed and ready for your next stage of your backpacking schedule.
This amazing company has once again sent a donation in support of raising money for Trail-Related Organizations. Thank you, Packit Gourmet, for sending us a re hydration koozie and a days-worth of meals, including
BREAKFAST: Polenta with Pork sausage $6.49
LUNCH: Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad$8.99
DINNER: Texas State Fair Chili$9.99
DESSERT: Mom’s Banana Puddin’$6.99
COCKTAIL MIXER: Moonshine Margarita $7.99
Aaaand…. everyone gets a free Austinatcious Tortilla Soup coupon code for $9.99.
You get soup and you get soup and youuuuuuuu get soup.
People, Packit Gourmet offers generous size portions. If you were to order take out, you’d be spending more…especially if you were to order with DoorDash or Uber Eats. Dude, the tip.
So, check out where people are chowing down and give them a thumbs UP!

What has more functions than a Swiss Army Knife, is incredibly soft, and offers 100+ ways to wear it every day?
Here’s a hint: You may have seen them at Trail Days labeled as “Better than a Buff”.
Yeah, that’s right NxN Marino Wool Kerchiefs!! I swear, I don’t know what I would have done last July when I was backpacking in 120 degrees in the mountains. I was overheating. Alex got his kerchief wet and put it around my neck to cool me off as we continued to bushwhack up the mountains of New Hampshire. Using that kerchief literally saved me from heat exhaustion and from ruining our trip, which we’ve been looking forward to for months. It was used on our head and necks to keep the biting flies off as well as protecting us from the sun with it’s UPF rating of 45-50+. My most recent trip I used it at an AirBnB for a bath towel. Literally, I don’t leave home without it. Check out NxN website www.northxnorth.co with a bunch of new colors for his m-wool this go-around, like indigo and flame!
Thank you, Chad, our fellow Marino-holic, for your donation of:
1.Hooded Neck Gaiter in Commando $30.00
2.Handkerchief in Black $35.00
3.Kerchief in Charcoal $75.00
