No idea - you might ask SilentOrpheus.

I don't want to hack-job it. Best to let HG figure it out.

I've run my fingers across the taped seam and can't find anything. No question water was coming in at a rapid pace, but I can only say it was coming in 'about this spot'.

It does leave me a bit disheartened. I certainly haven't put any wear on it in the time I owned it so... Make of that what you will. Caveat Emptor.

Any idea how much HG charged to retape it?

Thank you for the fast response, both here and via email. The tarp will be in your hands before the end of the week.

    Update...

Received word from Harry @ HG that after inspecting the Palace, they found a pin hole in the ridge. They repaired it, no charge. I should have it in my hands tomorrow.

Now that's outstanding service.. above and beyond my expectations.

As far as the tarp is concerned.. I am still bummed that it came to me that way. I know I pitched it once when I received it, but never in the wild, only in my yard and for likely less than an hour. Just long enough to install ground lines. I'll be much more careful before ever making a purchase of something like a cuben tarp. Just glad the leak occurred in my yard and not on the trail.
