Corn bread can be so controversial. Some like it sweet and cake-like. Some like it dry and crumbly.
Let's just bring ALL the breads.

Corn bread should be sweet-ish and not crumble. That's all.

Morning hangers. I need help with a silnylon tear. I had a gust of about 40 mph snap an aluminim MSR stake in half. ( Ive had knots fail, stakes come out etc. But never seen a stake snap in half). Anyway, the shock cord the fired the stake threw my Warbonnet tarp resulting it an L shaped tear about 6" x 4". Ducktape wont stick. How can I repair it?
    Thanks

    Hi ibgary,
Sorry about that happening to your tarp. Wicked bummer.
From what I understand, SilNylon can be tricky to repair. I know silcone would be a big help in the patch and found this youtube vid that may help.
    Good luck.

I think the key is that it should be absolutely LOADED with butter to make it delish!

If we had more than 1 dutch oven, I'd for sure make corn bread right in camp as well.

Gear aid tenacious tape. Trick is to prep the surface with isopropyl alcohol before the repair.

I would stitch it back up and glob (flowable) silicone all over it
