So, I just shuffled around some of my travel plans so I'll drive up on Friday evening, probably arriving around 8PM Friday night. I adjusted things to show I'll be there for Saturday morning breakfast.

1 more week and we all get to hang!

I bet those are reds. We lived in a similar area here in Maine. In ten years we saw precisely ONE grey squirrel and it looked like it had been lost at sea on a deserted island for three years. We had scrub oak with the pitch pines but that's red oak and they don't like the acorns as much as white oak, and people's bird feeders.

I confirm. No red squirrels here in NJ. I've been in NJ my whole life and NEVER seen a red squirrel (although I did see an albino many many years ago). Red squirrels were one of the first things I fell in love with when we visited Maine the first time (yes, I'm a girl, and I have a soft spot for all things furry- and NO, not for hunting..

Right this minute I am in Poulsbo, Washington (State) but next week I'll be out in Washington DC for the week and then traveling up to Philadelphia for the week after in a rental car so I have Friday evening thru Monday afternoon off work to do whatever I want in the area so I figured, why not join in on the fun, meet some new people, and get a weekend hang in while I'm there.

I am on the hunt but they are getting hard to come by around here

I’ve got a line on a bunch of oversized pallets. Will see if I can get them in the shortbed, otherwise we’ve got a bunch in Pennsauken and Lumberton.

Lots of oak stands and grey tree rats around. I’m sure a couple could fall out of the trees if needed.

I am starting to wonder what we got ourselves into with signing up for this hang.

These hangs are NOT fun. They could be, but a certain someone is all it takes to poison the vibe. When someone hates their life, it shows.
