    repair hexon 1.6

    Hello all,
I found a line of 5 or 6 very small holes in my Hexon 1.6 netless hammock. They are located around the midpoint of the long axis of the hammock so this area is typically under body weight pressure. What would the recommended fix be?

    Thanks,
    Jay

Stop getting into your hammock wearing those Levi/ rivet jeans - - seriously - If there is yarn damage you might try a drop of permatex to keep it from traveling ( like fixing a spark hole in a tarp to close to fire) or if the holes were created such that the yarns are just pushed aside you can massage the fabric and the hole should close up- no damage

Yes, these are discreet holes in a line, unlikely from jeans. Thanks for the start but Permatex is a brand and I have a number of different Permatex products. Anything more specific? The products I have are all different threadlocking strengths.

I'm also debating using either Seamgrip or Aquaseal, with or without some Tenacious tape on both sides...

Crazy glue will lock down the threads and add strength. Wipe the tip off so you don’t make a large blob. It also works great for the threads holding buttons.

Permatex flowable windshield sealant has been on my tarp for 10 years- its seen a lot of use and is still flexible (and sticking tight).
