Would it be better to say ski season is coming?

The big thing I learned is that small hammocks (ENO single) are claustrophobic in stifling heat. It's time for a new Hammock. The big question is which one?
I've looked at the trail lair, the Dream hammocks, and others. I'm leaning toward symmetrical, rather than dedicated lay, because I side sleep and switch sides. Oh, the choices!

Oh, Thank You! I've never been in a Hennessy. I'm hoping someone will have an SLD hammock I can try.

I love both of my dream hammocks (dangerbird and sparrow) I can't stay the night at the hang but may come and hang out one night. if I do I will bring both and you and try them out.

I've heard good things about the SLD trail lair, if you want a good hammock quick there in no one faster that Jared at SLD

Here in Lowsyana, we have 2 seasons....Summer and Not Summer! When I get jonesing for hammock camping, I have to get my fix by hanging in the A/C! It's not the woods, but it buys me some time until cooler weather finally arrives!! Hopefully, it gets here before Christmas!!!

Just north of there, here in Kentucky, we are having temps that break 120yr old record highs. This is NOT normal

We had a scout trip to the WWII museum in New Orleans in August. When I suggested that as our August activity, I had in mind trying to do a lock-in at a church down there somewhere so we could sleep in the AC.

    NOPE

We ended up camping at Fontainbleu State Park just north of Lake Ponchatrain. As soon as I heard that, I ordered a battery powered clip fan from Amazon to help me survive the night. I won't say it was pleasant, but the fan made it more tolerable.
