We could hang out near camp verde. West clear creek trail #17 looks pretty cool http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=146 We could hike as much or as little as people wanted. It might be questionable weather that time of year and getting wet may not be to inviting. Any suggestions?

Post some pics/GPS coordinates so the rest of us can check it out. I can't get enough of the rim.

another place that would be good would be chevelon canyon lake. there is camping on top of the lake, then its like a mile hike down to the lake it self, with place around to hang.

Sorry guys, I got the dates wrong earlier. It will be April 30-May 2nd covering Fri-Sun. I'm hoping at least two of those dates work for people so we can have a larger turnout. As of now I plan to stay all three days.

Here in Prescott there is still a bit of snow above 6000 feet. So the Mogollon might still have some snow around that time. Unless we get some heat regularly. Still worth checking out. I also love that area. Rook and I can also do a run up there to check it out if you guys want us to, closer to the date to assess the weather/forrest roads etc. I hear "Road trip!"

Our business is in Cottonwood, so we can check it out after work, or take a trip on one of our "off" days (tuesday or thursday). So just let us know.
It's not the pace....it's the experience.

    Hey Roadtorque:

My son Jacob and I are good for the dates you pick. Anywhere the group wants to go is good with us.

Well, any ideas for a location for this hang that will have plenty of hammock hangin' trees?
