Cleaning out Gear closet, Two Hammocks

Well, its coming to the end of another hiking season and I am in the process of cleaning out my gear locker to make room for future acquisitions. First up is my trusty Hennessy “Expedition” Hammock. Its the “Classic“ version with the bottom entry. This was the first hammock I ever owned,. I only used it for about 5 nights in total and it introduced me to the world of hammock camping. I held onto this hammock thinking that I could use it to introduce family and friends to our obsession, but that never happened. It has been sitting in my gear closet ever since the day I purchased my first Dutchware gathered end.

These are still retailing new for $149. Asking $65 shipped to your door (CONUS). Paypal Only...

Next up is a catch and release. You all may have heard of “Kitsapcowboy” and admired the creativity and skills he brought to our forum. “Cowboy” created some innovative hammocks and tarps many of which I admired and we both shared the “DIY” itch. I purchased the “Cowboy Web-Slinger UL Bridge “ from him so that I could look closely at his technique (plus I really wanted the “0.710" Ruta Locura carbon fiber spreader bars“). Below is a link to his Original post about creating this hammock.

This hammock has not even been slept in once I got it. Its way to light weight for me (Dutch Hexon 1.0) and as everyone told me, the “ Roto Locura Caron spreaders” were “pushing it” for my 230 lb frame. So I am reselling it as I got it from Cowboy (never having been used) and I am adding a brand new “Dutch Buckle Suspension” (tree straps, Dutch Buckles and Dutch Hooks) less the Whoopie Slings, but I am adding a set of UCR's to replace the Whoopies and a couple of Amsteal Soft shackles.

This is a 12oz, ultra light bridge that you won't get anywhere else.I paid Cowboy $140 for this (less the Suspension), I am asking $160 (Dutch's suspension is $24) shipped to your door (CONUS). Below is the original FS posting.
